Gas Price Investigation

A company did some research into gas price jumps and discovered some interesting things. Course, I haven't had time to read the full article yet, but I'm sure it's good :) Linked from LMB.

Ahh, another time to promote Diesel!

Since November, 2002, at the pump closest to me it has been 69.9 for most of the time. In August jumped to 72.9 and since has dropped to 67.9.

Regular gasoline in the mean time has jumped back and forth from 62.9 up to 92.9c/litre. In one day I've seen it jump 12cents a litre! Normally it's around 74.9.
Plus I get 50mpg!!;)

I think a lot of the stability with diesel has to do with truckers who wouldn't put up with the same as car drivers have to. They are a little more organized (the bad part of which is they are against cleaner Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel (ULSD) as it can cost a few cents a gallon more:().
